„It’s about the simple brief effectiveness of a hand on your shoulder.
It’s about helping each other to live, and to keep on living.
It’s about how trying so hard to be your perfect self can cut you off from knowing who you are at all.
It’s about how if you get caught in a trap it can be painful as hell to set yourself loose.
It’s about failing and falling down and doing it again and again and again and again.
It says that living is work
And work is life
But maybe work should be work and life should be life.“
– Jude Christian
TODAY IS MY EVERYTHING explores our ambivalent relationship with time, work and identity. In a world where every minute must be optimised, restlessness, overwork and alienation are on the rise. The quest for the ‘perfect self’ draws us into a vicious circle of effort, failure and recovery, which often leads to burnout.
The production has been selected and supported by two platforms for emerging talent:
In connection with *Les Quarts d'Heures* by Théâtre Sévelin 36, a short version is being developed, which will have its world premiere on 23 September 2026.
And, in collaboration with *PREMIO*, a full-length play will subsequently be developed, which will premiere in April 2027.
